Helsinki has gained a new mobile library, Stoori. Stoori goes where people are and offers the delightful experience of discovering reading as a hobby.

Ready-to-use tips and materials on reading, literary and media skills, and library content. You can use them as distance learning material for your students, for family time, or just for free time.

Ready, steady, read! The Little Helmet Reading Challenge starts for the fourth time.

Will you take the reading challenge? A skilled reader can do anything. The Helmet Reading Challenge for Young Readers is now The Little Helmet Reading Challenge.

The basic renovation of the library was planned together with Youth Services and residents.

The metropolitan area libraries are arranging a Harry Potter day already for the third time. Be sure to come to the library on magical Thursday, February 2, 2017. In the course of the day, the participating libraries have plenty of fun program such as snitch hunting, making magic wands, and costume competitions.

Are you up to the challenge? Reading is fun but it also equips you with knowledge and understanding. The 2017 Helmet Reading Challenge for Young Readers is a shorter version of the original Helmet Reading Challenge, ready for you to modify (and enjoy!) as you wish.
