Did you read a great book? Tell others about it
Would you like to know what other library customers have thought about the book you are about to read? Did you read a great book and now you’re anxious to tell others about it? You can add your own ratings and written reviews in
Helmet search
. You can also add a tag of your choice.
How to rate a title
You can give a title a star rating or write a short review (or both). Log in first. To give a title (a book, a record etc.) a rating, click one of the stars from one to five. To write a review of a title, click the link “Be the first to review / (x) reviews”. Type headline and review in the respective fields and click Update.
The system will automatically give you a personal reviewer’s name (Helmetxxxxx), which you can change if you like. You will immediately see your review at My reviews in Your record. It will be published when approved. You can edit and delete your reviews in Your record.
You can write reviews in English, Finnish and Swedish.
How to add a tag
To add a tag to a title record, click the plus button in the record of a title. Tags are words describing the contents of the title, i.e. subject terms not found in the description given by the library. NB. Tags are not supposed to be evaluations. Instead you can use them to describe a title and they can be helpful in searching. E.g. halloween, ubuntu, hiking. The tags you add will be public and available to other customers in Helmet search.
